Bio
At age 12 most of us are riding bikes, going to the beach or just plain causing mischief. This is when the love of the 1200's first swept young Erin of his feet. Born in New York City and currently residing in Colorado, there isn't much that Erin hasn't achieved in the studio and as a professional DJ. He has spun and created music under the names Skwidboy, Shift, and JFA.
When not practicing his Moon Walking techniques or being politely asked to leave people's homes, he is busy producing music for a wide variety of projects ranging from dance music, film soundtracks, and fashion shows. Erin has even been hired by the state of Colorado on a government grant to teach DJ Mixing 101 to High School students. From spinning live on New York's X-107 , with nightly audiences in excess of 300,000 plus, to several residencies including a 3-year weekly in NY at Bounce, he continues to entertain crowds with a vinyl collection most DJ's dream about.
Erin has played some of the largest venues and festivals in America including clubs on the Vegas Strip, the world famous Red Rocks Amphitheater in Colorado, The Denver Pepsi Center, The Roxy, NYC and The Winter Music Conference 'WMC', Miami.
Many high-energy companies, such as Red Bull and Grey Goose Vodka have hired Erin for their events because of his flavourful ability to present several genres of music mixed seamlessly together.
His sheer diversity is evident in the overwhelming list of acts that he has supported through the years, some of the amazing highlights include The Crystal Method, DJ Dan, David Morales, Derrick Carter, Derrick May, Hani, Super DJ Dmitry & DJ Ani (of Deee-Lite), DJ Icey, Andy Hughs, Hipp-E, Freddy Fresh, Jaun Atkins, Frankie Bones, Simply Jeff, Joeski, Onionz, Ursula 1000, Wicked Crew, DJ Swamp ( Beck's DJ), Mixmaster Mike, Sugarhill Gang, Pharcyde, Greyboy, A3 (Soprano's soundtrack), 311, Long Beach Dub Allstars, Soul Coughing, War, Maceo Parker, P-Funk Allstars, G Love and Special Sauce, Busta Rhymes, and Moby.
